Ramblings of a Mentally Itinerant Teen

go read something else. it'll probly be funnier, happier, and more interesting. Unless it's Job. If you know what that is, you've been to Catholic Sunday School. *wow, i cant even do a description without rambling...*

weird stuff

there's what i thought happened this morning: i thought my alarm went off at 6:05- really thought it did. remember the noise and everything. remember turning it off too. laid in bed til 6:15, wrote a reading journal til 6:35. then i heard the click that means my alarm would go off if it were on, but its not. but it already went off... its like i was woken out supernaturally to get my reading journal done. weird...

so i studied for vocab, went to the bus stop, waiting with Hanna and a chicken for a bus that was twenty minutes late. Didn't get anything wrong on my vocab quiz, altho i was quite sure (again) that i was gonna fail it. but i never do. today was weird... then i had painting on canvas. Tried to make black circles, painted the whole page black, made red circles on it, flicked red drops of paint over that. now my jeans have read stains. it doest look like blood tho. which i suppose is good... then snack, which i spent a lot of time drying my canvas in, went to math and had a brain overload trying to do my proofs really fast. i felt fizzy and shook a little. but that happens. yawned thru english and french. im starting to dread my controversity topic; factory farms aren't really controversial enough. They're mass-torture units. What else is there to say? And then we're doing passé compossé in french for the umpteenth time, which will be boring. But i think im finally about to get the whole story of direct and indirect objects. They should have taught it to us ages ago, so i've learned it in bits and pieces my myself. adunno. it'll probly still be boring. then we're taking a break from the book, she says. Which probly means a group project, which will completely stink.

Then i had lunch, which wasn't any more of an adventure than usual. My salad exploded, yes, and my tea brewed slightly longer than usual. I finished a book about English witch trials, around the same time as Salem. it was ok-ish. slightly weird. but i havent read historical fiction for a while. Pretty much just teenage junk. Which is all ive been up for. but whatever. i needed something i can make an ok connection to for a reading journal. Then Social Studes, where the test suddenly billowed up into a major thing that needs a lot of studying for. I didnt expect a major test, we've only had like one quiz so far anyway. I was very lucky to get all my notes done except for Ari's, which i got in gym class. So then i had science, where i didnt ask as many questions as usual. It was notetaking, which i dont mind. It was pretty simple, altho i did have questions. And Mr. Stott said "Don't ask why" about a lot of stuff, which was annoying. I think Rachel used up his question tolerance. Which is ok, but it means he gets annoyed with out class. Especially cus Ari and Nick ask completely random, distracting questions. Compared to mine, which has a point. Not complaining too much tho, its not that big a deal. Or at least today it wasnt. Then i had cardio. not much happened.

Then i went to the library with Julia and Nicki. just sat and thought along the way, and... yeah. And... yeah. And...yeah! So there was that. then i got there, called home. my brother answered, said he'd tell my dad i was at the library. (He didn't. but i didnt get in trouble.) So i emailed, went over my notes with Julia, read (i think, maybe i actually didnt!) and went home a bit early. Ate, did french and math hw. Had dinner, my mom had tofu soup, which was nice. Went on the computer, talked to Eleanor on that and the phone, got of the computer but stayed on the phone, had fun talking and slamming doors and having long awkward silences. Then the phone diedish, so it was pretty much over. studied a bit (i WILL fail, i know i will. most likely. but maybe not. if its as easy as she should have made it. but i doubt it.) then went back on the computer.

this has been a really long post, but some interesting stuff actually happened today. not much mindboggling, but pretty interesting.
